Chapter 1: An Introduction to Windows Server 2008

This first chapter will introduce the guide as well as set up the structure of the upcoming chapters. Focused on the new installation features, this chapter will discuss each of the three potential mechanisms for getting Server 2008 installed onto physical hardware. The chapter will also discuss the new Initial Configuration Tasks wizard that speeds the deployment of new servers.
